Image Upload Policy

9 October 2026

This policy explains what happens when you upload a photo or image to Kludda (for the Photo → Drawing feature or as a storybook reference). By uploading an image and ticking the checkbox you confirm that this is you, that you have permission, or that you are the parent or guardian of the child in the photo, and that you agree to these terms.

1. You must have the right to upload

  • You must own the image or have explicit permission from the copyright holder to use it.
  • If the image shows a person, it must be you, or you must have that person’s permission. If it shows a child, you must be the child’s parent or legal guardian (or have the guardian’s permission).
  • Do not upload images of other people without their knowledge or permission.
  • Do not upload images that belong to someone else without their authorisation.

2. Prohibited content

The following are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualised depiction of a minor.
  • Non-consensual intimate images (NCII).
  • Images that are illegal under Swedish or EU law.
  • Images used to harass, defame, or harm another person.

3. How we handle your image

  • Your image is uploaded temporarily to our secure storage (Bjole AB infrastructure, Sweden).
  • It is used solely to generate your requested output (drawing or storybook page). Photo → Drawing is normally processed on our own GPU server in Sweden (EU); if that server is unavailable, or for storybook pages that use your photo as a reference, it is processed by fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc., United States), a cloud processor, under its standard data processing agreement with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. fal.ai may use anonymised usage data to develop its models. We do not send your email address or account identifiers. On our own server the photo is deleted from the render machine as soon as the job is done.
  • Before generation, your image is checked automatically for prohibited content via our LLM gateway; that check may be carried out by AI providers outside the EU/EEA.
  • The original uploaded image is automatically deleted from our storage within a couple of hours.
  • We do not use your image to train AI models, for advertising, or for any other purpose.
  • Generated outputs (the drawings) are stored as part of your account in the same way as any other generation.

4. Consent record

When you tick the consent checkbox, we record that you agreed to this policy, along with a timestamp and the version of this policy in effect at that time. We do not store the image itself after processing — only the consent record.

This record may be used to investigate abuse reports or to respond to legal requests.

5. Reporting

If you believe an uploaded image violates this policy or any law, please contact privacy@bjole.dev immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including notifying authorities where required.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the upload feature after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
